The
List of artists
Shanghai Biennale 2000, Shanghai Art Museum's inaugural exhibition would unquestionably
be an international art event of immense scale and influence, for the very first
time in Shanghai.
This exhibition invited 67 contemporary artists from both China and abroad. The
selection was made by a international curatorial team.
Shanghai Biennale 2000 would provide a unique opportunity for artists of various
historical back grounds, countries, and ethnicity, with different artistic pursuits
to engage with their peers and participate in their important cultural discussion
through the expression of art.
