We had an interactive balloon art event to celebrate the opening of ThinkPark, which is a new building opened on 25 October, 2007 in front of the Osaki station, Tokyo, Japan.

In this art event, two artworks, Moonlight Balloon and Life Tree created by Motoshi Chikamori ++ Kyoko Kunoh were exhibited outside of the building.

Moonlight Balloon, which is an art balloon 5 meter in diameter and is based on the concept of “an egg of life" floated into the sky and varied different colors. On the ground, three Life Tree were exhibited, showing a movie on its surface. When people come close to Life Tree, animals in a forest start to move.

Since early times, a house lizard is thought as a god to protect a house. There are many legends about a house lizard not only in Japan, but also in the world. Moonlight Balloon is floated as a god to protect a newborn forest of ThinkPark.
